Building/leading inclusive cultures

Inclusion becomes a source of strength

We consult with companies that have a mature program in place and want to know if there are ways to take their program to the next level, what to do post unconscious bias training that might have a more lasting effect, or how to measure and promote inclusion and belonging. And we work with companies that have not had a formal program in place and want to launch one with our without a dedicated team.

Working with companies (from start ups to non profits, to public companies) that recognize they want to put an ED&I program in place and are not sure where to start, we co-create a design to meet each company's needs and support integration with leadership development, HR processes as well as the business plan.

As new issues and challenges arise, we create new interactive programs to address changing conditions in the workplace.

Our most current program "Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging In The Current Climate" addresses the challenges of dealing with systemic racism that have not been discussed in corporate cultures. How to support Black employees, anti-racist actions building strong allieship as well as how to address those who are not comfortable with difficult conversations while dealing with highly charged emotional issues of working through a pandemic.

The "sweet spot" in our consulting practice :
Moving beyond diversity to focus on inclusion requires that companies help leaders; embrace new ideas, accommodate different styles, hold courageous conversations, become comfortable with disruption, eliminate harassment and value differences. To do this requires taking critical steps essential to creating a work environment that promotes inclusion in all its variations.

Nuts and Bolts:
Each consultation is created to maximize sustainable growth and results that support your business goals.

Meet & Explore
  • In the initial meeting, together with Marilyn, Stacè or one of the team members, you delve into what has been done, any metrics available and trends based on metrics such as engagement surveys, retention, talent review process etc.. You define the goals, and together we chart the course for achieving them.

Implementation and Traction
  • While programs are important, and we offer several, accountability and follow up is key. With our team you’ll debrief, track progress, and discuss questions or issues that have arisen, and her supplemental material and process for follow up with help promote continuous progress toward a more inclusive culture and inclusive leadership.
